ALOED Winter Book Club Meeting

Join the ALOED book group on to discuss the booksThe Myth of the Spoiled Child by Alfie Kohn and The Marshmallow Test by Walter Mischel. The Kohn book challenges widely held beliefs about today's young people, and specifically takes issue with the conclusions drawn by our last book club author, Paul Tough, and his conclusions based on Walter Mischel's The Marshmallow Test. It's a great opportunity to discuss some of the current issues in education with a variety of educators, and enjoy networking and social opportunities as well.

Dinner will be served, courtesy of ALOED. An engaging evening of food, friendship and conversation should be anticipated.
