Stop by the registration canopy in the quad to hear about news about the campus from current students and to make your gift to the Annual Fund. In addition, the Parents Association invites you to drop by throughout the day to meet and mingle with other Oxy parents and enjoy refreshments.

10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.: Campus Tours and Informational Sessions

Alumni and Oxy families are welcome to bring their high school students for an hour long campus tour lead by the Office of Admissions, followed by an information session.
12:00 p.m.: Homecoming Golf Classic
1:00 tee time at Scholl Canyon
The 2011 Homecoming & Family Weekend Golf Classic returns to Scholl Canyon Golf Course, a local par 60 course, for a family fun scramble with a shotgun start. All golf skill levels are welcome, so dust off your clubs and join us for a great afternoon.
Save the date for Friday, October 28, with a start time of 1:00 pm. Check-in opens at 12 noon. Registration totals $95 for individuals, $360 for a foursome. We're thrilled to be hosting Occidental’s 2011 Hume Fellow, classical pianist Awadagin Pratt, for a recital in Thorne Hall at 7:30 pm with a reception following that performance. Among his generation of concert artists, pianist Awadagin Pratt is acclaimed for his musical insight and intensely involving performances in recital and with symphony orchestras. In 1992, Mr. Pratt won the Naumburg International Piano Competition and two years later was awarded an Avery Fisher Career Grant. He has played numerous recitals throughout the US including performances at Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles and Chicago's Orchestra Hall. Please join us for a wonderful evening of music to complete a wonderful Homecoming weekend. Admission is complimentary for students, alumni and parents.
