For the first time in its 125-year history, Occidental celebrates its rich athletic tradition of Olympic champs and prominent athletes and coaches with the induction of eight Oxy sports legends into the Occidental College Athletics Hall of Fame. Dean Cromwell '1902, Bob Gutowski '58, Jack Kemp '57, Sammy Lee '43, Bob McMillen '52,  Bill Redell '64, Arthur “Bud” Teachout '27, and Pat Yeomans '38 will be recognized in the inaugural class.
